Flash Developer
POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Product Manager and/or Project Manager, the Flash Developer will be responsible for delivering custom flash solutions as well as enhancing and maintaining our core Flash platform integrated with our products. This platform will be used to drive high GSsoft profile products. The candidate must be execution oriented, and easy for our clients to work with.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Flash Development;
- Design/Architecture work;
- Technical Documentation;
- Troubleshooting/debugging.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION
- BS/BA degree, preferable in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience;
- 2-3 years Flash/Flex in ActionScription 2.0 and 3.0.
SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED
- Expert at Flash Media; all aspects of video playback and flash streaming technologies;
- Expert Actionscript programming (AS3 and AS2);
- Strong understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns and implementation in Flash/Flex applications;
- Experience with HTTP protocol, HTML, CSS, Javascript;
- Understanding of Apache, IIS webservers;
- Experience with webdesign side (effects, photoshop, image production, etc) a plus;
- Experience with other streaming media technologies a plus (Move/WMS/FMS);
- Experience with large scale and/or mission critical websites;
- Organized and attentive to detail;
- Excellent communication skills: written and verbal (Portuguese and English).
