GSoft launches new multi-applicational platform on GMedia suite

GSoft Framework

With the increasing number of customers using GMedia products, GSoft has been technically and operationally restructuring the suite of products, in order to respond adequately to the requirements of its customers without, however, being in conflict with the focus on product development that characterizes GSoft position in the market.

Over the last year, GSoft has been adjusting its development processes to Agile approaches. These changes (see article GSoft Agile Development Approach) are having a very positive impact on the quality and development efficiency of our products.

During the last 20 years GSoft has been delivering Broadcast Resource Planning software through our GMedia product suite. Being market leader in the countries where we are present, our competitive advantage lays in great part in the ability to work closely with our customers, ensuring their requirements are met in our products.

Despite the unquestionable value of deeply integrating customer requirements, such approach conditions the development and evolution of a software product, raising challenges in our development processes.

In order to develop this ability, GSoft launched GLabs as a collaborative forum focused on planning, researching, and developing innovative software solutions. This approach to R&D is focused on helping clients using technology innovation to leverage their performance. With this approach we want fulfill several key goals for GSoft and its clients: • Accelerate the development and delivery of unique and valuable solutions; • Stimulate innovation by bringing together the best ideas from GSoft, partners and clients; • Give clients the opportunity to see and feel how a particular solution would impact on their existing business processes and technology.
